Observation details

Continuing, heard only unfortunately. It was not that far north of the parking area on the east side of the road. I was on the road, the bird sounded like it was at the far edge, along the shoreline. At that time, someone got a call saying the bird briefly popped into view along the shoreline. Unfortunately, by the time everyone got over there, the bird had disappeared. To my knowledge, it wasn’t seen or heard again. New state bird but disappointing I didn’t see it.
