Observation details
Uncertain. Identified by Merlin Sound ID, exclusively on basis of a repeated, single chipping sound about every ten seconds. App repeatedly insisted on Black-capped for a fifteen-minute period. Photos show the offending bird, which has a white nape, large head, pink/buffy flanks, and longish tail, and severe line separating black chin from white chest, which all seem to point to Black-capped. Sadly, I did not get a clear view of the wings/secondaries.
