Observation details
Photographed it finally. Perched pretty low. Had its back to me unfortunately. Will keep trying. Tail tip is quite square but I feel it's moult. Has thick legs, a heavy brow and large bill, all going against CSH. On looking at the photos I realised it is holding prey - probably why it sat for so long. Not sure what the prey is but looks big - maybe a swamphen or moorhen
