Observation details

Very nice to see a YBCU at this bucolic setting complete with a lovely covered bridge, and two picturesque mules in the farmyard. This species flags as a Rare siting, presumably late. Description: Initially observed bird flying across road in front of our nearly stopped vehicle; bird landed in nearby tree. Binoculars immediately confirmed cuckoo species. Photo shows yellow lower mandible, rufous side, yellow orbital ring. No vocalization. Photo from back of camera posted.
