Observation details
On levee top between two of the southern wtp ponds, near a large flock of BBPs and Dunlin but more closely associating with Killdeer. Pluvialis that was smaller than BBP, with a thin bill, dark cap, dark cheek, and a golden wash to the upperparts. Shorter primaries and longer bill than American g-p. Unsure if this is a new bird or continuing given that a g-p was last reported here on the 11/3. Fun study, photos.
