Observation details

Female observed within minutes after arriving at site and calling close to road. We followed her around for some time and noticed she was by herself. No sign of male or any nesting behaviour as expected this time of year. She would go from tree to tree calling on occasions but remained elusive. We the crossed the road and up the hill and found a male calling about 500m away from the female. Could be a male from a different Territory. He too seemed to remain in a bunch of trees over a period of time, softly calling on occasions and feeding. No signs of nesting behaviour eg carrying food to young in a nest or attending a nest site
