Observation details

*Rare. Lake County High Count* Minimum count of single flock. Perched nearby briefly but never got good visuals as they moved on quickly. However, heard birds several times throughout hike so they seem to be localized in area at the moment. Flyovers calling with rapid double-note chiff chiff calls and high nasal calls given while flying and perched. Recorded. Approximate location on trail (47.8865443, -113.8521569)
