Observation details

Shrenck's Bittern seen well and photographed twice in flight twice - see attached. Bird flushed from exotic grasses and Leucaena regrowth adjacent footpath approx. 100m south of Rocky Point Lookout. Yellow Bittern seen the previous afternoon had pale yellow underparts with no apparent streaking and paler wing covert panel and back, with plain black flight feathers in strong contrast.
