Observation details
Bird first showed up in a mixed flock of birds agitated by my imitation of an ESOW.Bright Yellow flanks and UTC, two white wing bars on a darker wing . Eye was black and only a faint black line in front of the eye challenged my ability to positively ID this bird and I was working on convincing myself it was possibly a Bell’s vireo. Finally, after chasing the bird for a good 30 min and hoping for a good photo , Jim arrived and was able to get some convincing photos. Yellow spectacles were the final clincher for WEVI . I managed some poor quality photos that I later downloaded and edited and are attached below. See Jim Mead’s subsequent report for better photos.
