Observation details
The Pacific Loon was foraging among Common Mergansers. In 30 minutes I spotted it three times. These were my best images. This Pacific Loon has a rounded head, it's nape is paler then its back and there was a sharp contrasted straight border between the black and white of its neck. This Pacific Loon was approximately the same size of the Common Mergansers that it was foraging with and much smaller than the Common Loon I photographed yesterday.
