Observation details

First seen at dusk, then heard. Large, enormous wingspan silhouetted by the fading light- birds hawking for insects above the forest. Then heard calling a bit later on - a series of whoooop-ooop-oop-oop-oops rising in pitch and becoming more rapid. confident with call and sighting, a very good bird at this location. Quick iPhone ID shot taken, and audio recorded.
