Observation details

Possibly two. One was flushed to a few hundred yards above the sound by a Red Tailed Hawk; however, I immediately spotted one on a log preening moments after the Hawk chase. Never saw two flying together though. Got to witness one pounce on a vol then carry it a distance before gulping it down.
