Observation details
First spotted this afternoon flying by Nick M. Refound at jetties by art museum perched by Michael Orgill. When I pulled up, it was still on the jetty, very close to the yellow sign on the jetties numbered 85. The bird appeared all white except for black on wings, extending from primaries to secondaries (northern gannet has white secondaries). Even the tail was white (masked booby tail is black). Bill appeared pale although it was hard to see from the distance. Some people said they saw red feet, but I'm too colorblind for that LOL. Bird was preening at first, sitting upright, then settled down for a good half hour, laying down and just relaxing. It appeared to sit up again at dark, flapping and preening, before settling down after sunset. Will try to see it again at first light. Location in experience media section.
