Observation details
Finally spotted the male two months after that beautiful female, what a glorious bird! Heard first, across the lake from the library in the Brazilian peppers. Moderate foliage-gleaning speed and frequent glancing around x mostly cloudy skies x pepper tree branch chaos x trying not to careen down sketchy lake slope = challenging photo shoot. I only had a few mins before strict departure deadline. A good exercise in patience and balance, and ultimately acceptance (and letting go lol). Zen birding at its finest. Photos to follow.
