Observation details
All dark birds with long, thin, slightly bowed wings. Flying low over the water, alternating between periods of gliding and bursts of rapid, snappy wingbeats. Due to thick clouds the lighting was mediocre, not great - under these conditions the underwings of all three birds appeared to be all dark. One heading south around 8:15 and two heading south around 8:30. Bad photo of the two that passed the point at fairly close range.
