Observation details
Lots of contact calls around 1710. 1859 whine and hooting response as I was picking through ABOW pellets. 1946 female perched above trail watched and photographed for a few minutes. 2000 owl with prey seen at parking lot while returning to car, flew across the road and swallowed prey in a tree.
