Observation details
Continuing shorebird. Managed to get some better shots. Foraging actively in the large mudflats with the kildeer and Wilson's Snipe. Thanks to Mike Fialkovich for getting better id. First thought Dunlin, but bill length and coloration at base, along with the long wings extending slightly past the rump seemed to suggest W. R. sandpiper. Bird never flew, so never got a look at the white rump which is a telltale field mark for this species. Same bird as a few days ago when seen in the near dark.
