Observation details

An adult male King Eider, which is a first for me! Floating around this area: (43.0203209, -82.4249509). Very complex and stunning plumage, with black mantle and sides, and bold white wingstripe. White breast and throat with light buffy wash noticeable. Hard to make out plumage details on face, but was contrasting light/dark with noticeable orange bill. Seemed relatively close in size and overall bulk to nearby WWSC. Took some video and grabbed a still to put up on the eBird list for now. May add video later.
