Observation details

1 Adult by North Boat Ramp, 2 Juveniles, one juv behind Interpretive Center on edge of woods trail returned repeatedly to the same snag with food and cached acorns under the bark of the snag, Also hollowed out holes and crevices under bark, once took food from lower hole in snag and stashed it in higher crevice under loose bark overhang where it had been working earlier; worked on multiple trees in immediate area, second juv at Maple Grove parking lot, 2nd juv had red feathers in hood, whereas 1st had no red in hood yet
