Observation details
I heard a killdeer make a warning call, so I looked up and saw a falcon zipping around. First thought was merlin, but I quickly realized it was actually my lifer peregrine. It circled around and made another low pass along the mudflat area and went out of view never to be seen again. No prior reports at Shelley Lake. See photos.
