Observation details
3rd lifer for me (Andrew) this week! Hasn't happened for years for me within BC. Small, very hyper active bird initially seen amongst flock of bushtits and chestnut-backed chickadees here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6fdQs1v8H7iXA5Sz7 Then later relocated by itself flycatching here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/j5GUmE4GBfDZ88ck9 When the bird was flycatching at the second location it was vocalising quite regularly. The bird has an overall blue-gray colouring. If it sits still for a moment it has a noticeable white eyering and has lighter underparts that are more white than blue-gray. It's outer tail feathers are white (reminiscent of DEJU and VESP, but overall much smaller) and it flits them a lot when moving actively in the bushes. Photos and recording to be attached.
