Observation details
One photo of adult male and 8 photos of a probably immature female. On the immature bird, the eyes are half amber and half pale (not bright) yellow. Steeper forehead angle and slightly rounder crown than typical GT?? I initially wondered whether this is just an aging phenomena in an ordinary Great-Tailed Grackle or whether it might be a hybrid. Discussion has indicated that there is generally no DNA evidence of hybridization of BT and GT, so this is unlikely to be a hybrid.
