Observation details

Good count for the Island, including the usual flock hanging around the eastern mouth of the Bronx Kill and an impressive congregation of birds on the Harlem River. The latter location hosted a cohort of adorable, freshly minted youngsters with crisply scaled upperparts and little to no necklace markings
