Observation details

Found by Don Weidl on November 12. Bulky, dark brown duck with very long, sloped bill; pale coloration on center of bill visible up to the forehead; eye brow slightly paler; a few flecks of white on shoulder. Drifting far off to the east of the beach at Bird’s Point. Not diving; preening occasionally.
