Observation details
Large grackle with dark iris and rounded head. Female, molting primaries which rules out a hatch-year Great-tailed Grackle and irises are too dark for an adult Great-tailed Grackle. The bill appears relatively shorter than Great-tailed Grackle too. Bird was found feeding on jetty in salt water habitat next to sandy beach. Photos.
