Observation details

A Northern Harrier was gliding low over the marsh when a Peregrine Falcon crossed into its airspace. The harrier quickly climbed to meet it. After a brief exchange of sharp calls, the falcon accelerated and sped away at high speed—well over 100 mph. The harrier paused for a moment, then resumed its steady patrol.
