Observation details
Nice find by Will S. Large brown diving duck with dark cap, light cheek patch, thin ish bill, and slightly cocked tail. Seen associating near some cormorants for a nice size comparison. Much too large for ruddy duck, cheek patch too dull for male ruddy but lacking the dark line of a female/immature, tail held at lower angle than expected for ruddy. Some digiscopes.
