Observation details
First sighting of a Bald Eagle in this neighborhood, though I've spotted them before throughout the town and especially near Beattie Pinery. It flew in from the west (where the majority of the town is) about an hour after the Cooper's Hawk bagged it's second Dove. It swooped low, directly over my house/ yard, and appeared to be interested in the dead Dove, however when I stood up to get a photo of it, I think I spooked it, as it flew off immediately in the other direction (westbound) towards the overflow pond nearby.
