Observation details
While bureaucratically in Djibouti, I birded the Rahhle wadi, which serves as the geographic border between Ethiopia and DJ. I birded the southern side of the wadi (geographic Ethiopia) near dusk on Oct 11 and saw an adult pair of Bonelli's eagles soaring over the canyon rim and then coursing off to the south (further into Ethiopia). The species was undoubtedly within ET and noteworthy for the country.
