Observation details
While watching the Western Palm Warbler on the grass of the Yauht Club from the point at Dune with other birders, I noted another much yellower bird on the top of the fence. It looked like another Palm Warbler, but I checked carefully to assure it was not an OCWA or other more yellow opton. It had a more reddish cap, and the yellow coloration extended from the undertail well up onto the belly and even chest. It was constantly tail-wagging, and I then told others that I thought I had another much yellower Palm Warbler, a second bird. Many photos taken, much discussion, and we agreed it appeared to be an eastern type "yellow" Palm Warbler.
