Observation details

Heard some different sounding calls than I'm used to when I stepped outside my door to let the dog out. Quickly got my phone out and managed to record a few veer calls as they were fading into the distance. They sounded like evening grosbeak to me but the recording was faint so I enlisted the help of Jason to boost and analyze the audio. His shortened boosted version is attached, along with my original version in which the calls can be heard faintly in the first 7 seconds. Not sure how many there were as I was scrambling to record on my phone so didn't actually see the bird(s).
