Observation details
Great spot by Dan! A large blackbird with a heavy tail, chainmail-like feathering on the neck and head, and a large bill with a thin raised culmen. While watching the first bird, a second individual flew across the canal to join it. Very cool experience to watch them both for a while. Photos.
