Observation details

I was able to manage only a few digiscoped shots of this immature gull before if flew away. Having done some consulting, I'm landing on an ID of a relatively muted Thayer's Iceland Gull due to the "Venetian blind" pattern on the outer upper primaries, the very pale inner primaries, and the primary "frosted tips," visible in the field and in one of the photos.
