Observation details
Kind of surprised to see a male Eastern Bluebird in area between Hallet's Sanctuary and the Ice Skating Rink this morning. It flew from one tree to another and then landed in a tree near the Gapstow mudflats. I was surprised to see this bird in the area bc I didn't see any ripe berry trees in that vicinity and none of the trees he landed in had berries either (see photos for tree context). Interesting as so many other areas of the park currently have trees full of ripe berries but I haven't seen any bluebirds in those areas.
