Observation details

Tentative ID on an odd wader. Mostly blue heron with a white “necklace” and yellowish facial skin around the eye. Bill is long and more slender than expected for LBHE. Its calling alerted us to the bird as it wasn’t a call we had heard before, but after reviewing audio it sounds a lot like LBHE calls (our audio attached).
