Historical record. Previously reported. Picked out among huge flock of Canada geese on Crane lake. Smaller than nearby Canada geese. Black head, neck, and breast, contrasting with gray-brown back. Lighter gray-brown flanks with whitish barring. White rear. Black legs. Black bill, black eye. White neck band along the sides and front of neck. Distant digiscoped photos.
