Observation details

Unusual wader at fish farm id'd as a Ruff using the Australian Bird Guide (Menkhorst). Never seen this species locally before. Pointed out bird to 4 American birders in my company familiar with the bird who confirmed it as a Ruff. Michael Willison provided back of camere image attached.
