Observation details
Finally found a very large group after nearly giving up. They were at the marker for this posting. I thought I was a safe distance for viewing (approx. 75 meters) so as not to spook them and they did sit for 3 or 4 minutes as I viewed through the scope. Initially noticed about 10 individuals in taller grass/prairie plants. The male I was focused on apparently could tell I was looking at him, and flew to bring up 25 individuals that flew off to the SE. I felt bad for spooking them, but this does seem to be a "nervous" species that has surely been hunted in years past, if not to this day. Will add pics of individuals on ground. Count of group in air had to be fast, but was very close to 25 individuals.
