Observation details

I did playback of a buff-breasted earthcreeper call on my phone to confirm that it matched what I was hearing/seeing from the hillside. All three canasteros reacted aggressively to that call, coming within 3m of me but staying somewhat hidden in the low shrubs. One of the canasteros began this aggressive call and I recorded it. (Note that I stopped playing the earthcreeper call as soon as I recognized how agitated the canasteros were).
