Observation details

Soon after discovering this gull (on ice on Lake Yankton - Cedar Co., NE) was joined by Bill Huser, then several others that I called: Ed Brogie, Lee Brogie, Dave Swanson, Jerry Probst, Bob Livermore. Bird would fly to Gavin's Pt Dam spillway to feed and then back to the ice on Lake Yankton. The Included (Cedar Co., NE) photo is taken from video that I took soon after discovering the bird. Bird also landed on ice on Lake Yankton on South Dakota side (Yankton Co., SD) 1st State Record for South Dakota - 2nd confirmed record for Nebraska.
