Observation details
Along the path going west to east we saw two flocks of singing Eastern Bluebirds land in the top of two maple trees and we were able to count about 15 Eastern Bluebirds in each tree top. Farther east we picked up more Eastern Bluebirds at the intersection of the west to east path and the north to south path in Curtis Prairie. As we walked south we came across the stand of Oak trees and in that stand the were more perched Bluebirds. Just past that stane of Oaks there were several Bluebirds down on the trail and also perched in a couple small trees. We counted about 50 in all but think that that was actually an undercount. The last three days there have been many birders seeing and hearing large numbers of Eastern Bluebirds.
