Observation details
Thanks for the tip Dr. Cooper! Maybe IDable photos. Giving rattle call. Was able to make out the wing patches in flight as well. Flew directly over us at the top of the hill with the gate, coming from the North. Observed in flight for about two minutes as the flock flew south and out of sight. Tried my best to get an accurate count. I counted the flock five times and it ranged from 17 to 20, so 18 is a close count. Lifer!
