Wow! Heard sweet chips, tracked it down in palms. Remained furtive but we eventually got photos. Here 32.755613,-117.237679, then flew east and lingered in palms by the north edge of the skate park, close to the highway/bridge. bright yellow throat, large white supercilium, tiny white chin, grayish back, some black streaking on the flanks, white belly, white wingbars, black mask, white eye crescents. Last seen hereish: 32.7558,-117.2385 It was staying very sneaky and usually hard to see. Would go through periods of calling/not calling. It was easy to lose within a single palm. Was exclusively in palm trees
