Observation details

Small bird on walking trail (approximately 40.690724,-96.846251) with only upper body visual. While I was able to snap some photos, there were 2 issues attempting for a good photo: 1st was the short time to focus, and 2nd was the back lighting. It has a large eye and white eye ring. Conical bill that almost smoothly continues from head making it look like there was very little forehead, white neck ring, chin, and malar, light brown stripes on chest, mostly light brown body, and plain overall. I watched it fly from the tail while calling the 4 note rattle. I was unable to get a flight photo. I watched SCPAC staff drive an ATV up and then down 2 other paths without spooking a single bird to call or fly. Rattle louder and sharper than LALO.
