Observation details

Family group amongst themselves away from main goose flock. Birds were on high attention with necks fully extended and not mixed with other geese so body size was not as obvious. Plus this group was mixed with both males and females, males being larger and heavier by as much as 15% . That all noted they still stood out as different from CANG with their stubby bills and block head appearance. Color was not a factor due to distance. Birds were out near the rt 663 overpass. A Bald Eagle was constantly calling so may had been source of agitation. Birds allowed view for ~5 min then flew off with other geese heading NE.
