Observation details
Continuing bird found by Brennan KB and refound today by Sandra R. Some debate about mourning vs macgivilirays, but based on thin broken eyering (Mac would be thicker, shorter eye arcs), short tail, and chip call I am comfortable calling this mourning. The only ID feature I'm not sure about is the UnTC looked awfully long compared with the tail. Don't think this is actually anything though. While I'm not super familiar with Mac chip call, it sounded dead on for MOWA chip. Ironically Nov MOWA is rarer than Nov macgivilirays. Not that it makes me feel much better. Photos and audio TBA
