Observation details

Swamp sparrow near the pond, sneaking around in the dry grasses near cattail at pond's edge. Plain grey breast and white throat noted, dark cap, brown stripe on face. Viewed preening and chipping facing me,unable to see its back or tail. Sweet high pitched chip. Will upload chip calls collected. This bird was also present October 26, though not seen well, but call recorded.
