Observation details
Large bittern with thick striped neck, greenish-yellow legs, and blackish cap, hunting in a flooded marsh. Initially noticed by our guide Hezzy, when we stopped to look at a pied kingfisher. It was just off the road - very easy to see once we noticed it was there. After initially sitting motionless stalking prey in the water, it then started moving around a bit - will post photos
