Observation details
Kind of a head scratcher. Adult male parula with extensive yellow underneath, yellow malar, dark mask, and orangy wash on the breast. All those field marks are good for TRPA, but this bird had faint but well defined and obvious eye arcs where a NOPA would have them. This isn't like the faint white speckling around the face and lores that some young TRPAs seem to have, these strike me as a definite sign of NOPA influence.
