Black duck, stands out compared to the mallards. Picking at one of the female mallards
Observation details
Very clearly distinguished male American Black Duck in a group of mallards. Yellow bill, black back feathers compared to the female mallard's brown. Slight blue visible on wing. My first time noticing one among Mallards!
